We aquired Blossom 2 weeks after my husband and I moved to our new house. She was born on my mum's (Coralie's) birthday and was the spitting image of a previous tortie girl (also named Blossom) we had had at home which died a few years earlier, even having the same loud purr. She was dumped at our local vet. We thought it must've been fate, so we called her Blossom and she is such a sweetie and greets everyone when they come visit us. She is also known as 'Aunty Blossom' to our British shorthair kittens.
